Privacy Policy

Your use of StudyMapp is subject to the following privacy policies. StudyMapp is provided by Building Five Technologies Inc. ("Building Five", "we", "us"), and not by Apple. We reserve all rights in and to StudyMapp that are not expressly granted to you here.

  1. Where your notes live

The images, PDFs, titles, folders, tiles, and review history you create are stored on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, StudyMapp syncs them between your own devices through Apple's CloudKit, into the private database of your iCloud account. We have no access to it. While there, your content is covered by Apple's iCloud terms. Turn sync off any time under iCloud in the Settings app.

  1. What we don't do

We don't have you create accounts or make you sign-in. No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking. No advertising or ad identifiers. No third-party SDKs that transmit data. No selling or sharing of personal information. Your notes are never used to train machine learning models.

  1. Purchases and notifications

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never receive your name, email, or payment details. Apple collects transaction data under its own privacy policy.

Review reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push service is used.

  1. Photos and files

Content enters StudyMapp only when you choose it, through the share sheet or a file picker. StudyMapp does not browse your library on its own.

  1. Deleting your data

Deleting a note removes it from your device and from iCloud on the next sync. Deleting the app removes the local copy. To remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings, your Apple Account, iCloud, Manage Account Storage, and delete StudyMapp's data.

  1. Changes

We may update these policies. The current version will always be posted at this address with the date at the top. Continuing to use StudyMapp after a change means you accept the updated privacy policies.

Tapping "Contact support" in the app opens a message in your mail app that already contains your plan, StudyMapp's version, and your device and iOS version, which you can delete. We keep what you send in our mail account in order to help you with your support issue and we don't use it for anything else.
